Preserving bronze sculpture

Sculpture preservation is basically a process of careful washing (to remove dirt, surface grime and pollution), rinsing
(to leave as chemically inert a surface as possible), drying and application of waxes.  This makes the sculpture -- and
especially its patina -- resistant to weathering and refreshes the surface, so it appears the way the artist originally
intended.
