 Emmy Restoration

The Emmy and other similar sculptures, usually break at the thinnest point (in the case below,
the ankles).

This Emmy was repaired using two stainless steel pins to reinforce the broken area, after which the
broken parts were soldered, sculpted to conform to the original design, polished, spot-plated (with copper
and bright nickel) and finally 24 k. gold to match the original finish.
