bulletUsing a magnet when removing dents:

This helps locate the exact position of the tool in relation to the dent.  It works

steel stake, mandrel, or similar dent removing tool.

bulletInternal Repairs (Submitted by Manny Kadis, Alchemy Silver Co.,

"Repairing filled silverware pieces by using epoxy is time consuming and hard
work.  I melt out about 1/2" wax or rosin out of the pieces.  Then I use a pipe or
bolt  and cement the two pieces together with "Rock Hard Cement."  That, or
similar, can be bought in any hardware store.  The cement dries in about 15
minutes and holds the wax back.  I use "Staybright" solder by Harris Co., of
Cincinnati.  It melts at 400°F, is stronger than lead solder and it polishes bright
as it has silver in it."
