Step 2: Rinse
Flood the plaque or memorial with the clean tap water to flush away the soap
solution. If you find that the plaque still needs more cleaning, repeat
the washing step and rinse again.
Rinse a final time with the distilled water, spraying it evenly
from one side to the other, or from the top down, directing the water to flow
off. You are trying to make the surface as chemically inert as possible.
