Step 4: Apply Wax
When the plaque or memorial is dry (and hopefully warm), pick up a small “dab”
of wax with the applicator brush and apply a thin coat.
Evenly cover about 5 square inches at a time...
and then lightly brush that area with the shoe brush.
Don’t wait for the wax
to dry before brushing,
otherwise it may leave a streaky finish. If it does get
streaky, apply more wax and brush the area again to smooth it out. Keep
working
until you have coated and brushed the entire surface.
Wait a few minutes and go over the whole surface again with the
brush, rubbing
harder this time.
