Making a wax brush

 

Start with an inexpensive 1” natural bristle paint brush.  The
bristles are perfect for working the wax into all the nooks and
crannies.

 

 

 

 

Wrap the metal band that holds the bristles with several winds
of electrical tape.  Cover it completely to prevent it from scratching the plaque or memorial.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Trim the brush to about ½” long to make the bristles stiffer.
This will  give better control for spreading the wax.
